Our Vision

The Nation Youth Sports Group is excited to announce our new partnership with D-Day Leadership Academy. The Nation Youth Sports Group thrives to be more than sports, we are expanding our vision towards education, leadership, and historical experience. D-Day Leadership Academy offers the perfect opportunity for us to do just that! Every summer DLA hosts students on a tour to France’s historic WWII sites. We want your child to be a part of that. Next summer, the Nation will be hosting two groups with DLA to Normandy, France. One High School and One Middle School group. Each group will consist of 12 Students.

About Us

About the Program Created from a promise made to WWII veterans to never forget their stories, DLA is an immersive history program that changes lives while sharing stories from the Greatest Generation. Students stay in an historic home in Sainte-Mere-Eglise and visit sites including Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Point du Hoc, Arromanches, and the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. Police officers, veterans and teachers are trained as guides, strengthening community relationships. The program is fully customizable for any type of group.

Costs

The only cost to the student is their airfare. We are anticipating flights to be $800 - $1400 per student. We are providing stay accommodations, food, and activities! We are planning to Fundraise to defer the cost and scholarships are available.
